We love hearing from our customers about what they think of the curly candle they’ve bought – whether the colour complements their interior beautifully, or whether the colour combination brightens up their living room. Others want to give a set of candles as a gift and wonder which colour would suit a specific occasion. Or customers send us a photo of their living room and ask which of our candles would look good there. And other customers tell us they find it hard to choose between the many colours available in our range. Here at Bika Candles, we’re passionate about colours; we’ve been working on our colour palette for years and are constantly searching for the best shade, hue and depth of colour for our candles. That’s why, in September 2025, we came up with the idea of providing our customers with monthly inspiration through our ‘Colour Mix of the Month’.
It’s time to put together a new colour mix!
Every month, Inge-Lise or Marie immerses herself in the atmosphere of the coming month, the season, what nature looks like, what people get up to, what events are on the horizon, how the light streams into the house… She then walks around the candle workshop and selects exactly the candles that beautifully capture this atmosphere. Next, we decide which sizes of each colour will enhance the overall balance. We just need to check that we have enough stock of the chosen set, and the month’s colour mix is ready to inspire our customers!
