A pale pink with a touch of grey, Grenadine always reminds of the summers of my childhood. Driving through France, the only options for children at the restaurants we stopped at were water flavoured with Grenadine or Mint syrup. So, this is definitely a summer colour!
But Grenadine is also the kind of colour, along with other lush, baroque greyed pinks such as Plum, Brick, Pomegranate and Pale Dogwood, that can add a touch of cosiness and cheer to a bleak winter evening.
